He‘s going to be fine, since that would be his first ever criminal offense, he will probably get away with a restraining order and probably he will have to visit a therapist once a week (which is good, because he needs it). At the moment he was arrested just because they don’t know if he is a danger to that girl, so they do this just to protect her in case he might actually hurt her, he‘s not sentenced to prison. He will be free soon, probably even this week or in the next few days after he talked to a therapist and he confirms that he is not a danger to anyone. At the end of the day he didn’t commit a crime and also didn’t threaten to do it and as i know him, he also never intended to.
