What's with the belief that a fully straight guy shouldn't be able to tell when another guy is good looking?

In looks based forums like this, we obviously do this everyday. But, among the masses a straight guy having any opinion at all about how attractive or unattractive another guy is is seen as slightly gay.

Is being able to tell that another guy is good looking as a straight guy actually slightly weird, or is it some machismo nonsense that most straight guys uphold by pretending to not being able to tell?

Ever since I discovered PSL, I look long and hard at HTNs on the metro. After some time, they look at me like I'm gay, because I just spent the last 5 minutes looking for aesthetic failos on their face.

80% might have an godsend meaning unsarcasticly.

btw its a known fact 99% of the times, that no objective bad looking traits are "lovable" by themselves. Look at pretty boys, look at masc guys, look at popular normies, look at anyone that might break psl rules they all have a certain strong halo, + you cant be 100% sure that there isnt anything beneficial going on for the foid (like money, free drugs or anything)
