Just saw this TikTok where this girl was criticizing people who are a social climber saying that you can see it in their eyes. She’s acting as if that’s legitimately a terrible way to secure a job, Jfl bro normies rephrased it as establishing connections meanwhile it’s the same exact thing. It’s an equivalent exchange. You give the person who has a higher status than you affection and respect and they bless you with a job or new connections within a business you excel in. If you’re going to have friends, you might as well help them whilst helping yourself
