I highly doubt you did, but if you're not fucking with me then you should apply to the olympics.

Freedom units are superior.
No, they aren't, everyone had their own units of length, there were Roman miles, Arab miles, Russian miles, Ottoman miles, until they decided to adopt the metric system to avoid confusion.
The Americans for some weird reason, decided to keep the old outdated system and even brag about it.

that means that youre propably strong too. I prefer long distance shit since i lack strenght and explosivness and you can pull more shit with your mind, thats why i want to try ultramaratons in future

Because they are better.

Mentally weak if you can't run distance tbh
I would agree, but I have flat feet, it doesn't help. Most I run is a mile and mt fastest is 6:10.

Look into barefoot running and foot strengthening. If you take it seriously, you'll develop an arch, how it should be.

I used to go running all the time, at leat twice a week but sometimes four times a week, I think I could run one mile in 5:15. The one feat I remember was running two miles, though I can’t perfectly remember the time, it was in 11 minutes and then 30s plus or minus 15s. Meaning it was either 11:15-11:30 or 11:45.
I think it was probably 11:45. I’ve been told by others that I’m a natural runner. I used to think that taking more than 8 minutes to run a mile was shameful but it turns out that’s the average time For a man. Just under 9 minuets. Then I got fat and it took me 13 and a half minutes to “run” one mile.
I did those feats as a ~5’5 15 year old who weight about 75kg if you want to make comparisons to yourself. Sorry I don’t have exact times for you. The difference between training and not training was the difference between being average and top tier amongst the boys in my school. Sadly I was never fit during cross country season.

work at it man. Run wery slowly, conversational pace, you can use long fast walks too. Build aerobic base before intense running

i dont even know br0

we had 1500m at sports day but it was optional and i instead chose to do 400 and high jump which were the only things i could do.

I think I did bro and I'm pretty skinny and like 6'3" so that might contribute. Maybe I'm messing up the numbers. I'll do it again tomorrow (I just went for a run about an hour ago and I'm exhausted, untimed) and I will check back with you. I'll be honest too btw bro.

i used to run distance

its good for developing mental discipline but just look at sprinter physique vs long distance physique

if I want to do lower intensity cardio ill do something I actually enjoy like surfing or hiking

Yea, everyone that can run 2 miles in under 10 minutes knows precisely what their mile time is. He probably meant 8:30/mile

I ran a 10k in 37 min at around age 33.
