High iq take, talent doesn’t matter if you don’t have the work ethic or commitment to your craft - the only time talent beats hard work is when the talent also has hard work.Art and animation. Though I don't believe in natural talent. Hard work triumphs any supposed talent. Takes years to be a master at anything...

talent is genes / gifts, an artist can be blessed or needs to be blessed with certain traits like a steady hand, a good memory...Art and animation. Though I don't believe in natural talent. Hard work triumphs any supposed talent. Takes years to be a master at anything...

I disagree. Never once in my life have I ever seen anyone do anything without prior experience and master those who've worked harder than them. I think statistical outliers exist but shouldn't be accounted for... extremely rare. Even if you have a steeper learning curve due to genetic traits like IQ, anybody who spends time doing what you do can still reach your level. Most people simply just give up and tell themselves they'll never be X, Y, or Z. Laziness is a disease.talent is genes / gifts, an artist can be blessed or needs to be blessed with certain traits like a steady hand, a good memory...
even with bad genes you will be better than normies but your talent is still very important and for many their golden ticket
Depends on the area. Something like the 100m dash is purely genetics.Art and animation. Though I don't believe in natural talent. Hard work triumphs any supposed talent. Takes years to be a master at anything...
having that drive is also a "talent"I disagree. Never once in my life have I ever seen anyone do anything without prior experience and master those who've worked harder than them. In terms of things which require extreme physical exertion or sports which favor genetic things like height, build, bone density, etc. then yes I'd accredit that to being genetic, less so talent and more so fitting the physical requirements which were outside of your control.Depends on the area. But I would agree on your point in terms of learning something, nearly everyone can manage with hard work.In terms of things which require extreme physical exertion or sports which favor genetic things like height, build, bone density, etc. then yes I'd accredit that to being genetic, less so talent and more so fitting the physical requirements which were outside of your control.
