After stopping Retin-A, how long until your skin returns to Normal Sensitivity and doesn’t automatically burn in the sun?

I plan to use intermittently. Pretty certain you retain most of your collagen, it’s not like in 2 weeks or 2 months you lose all your progress if you were consistent for awhile
