... it looks way better when I take pics from my left side than my right side. Why is that?

Is your true representation of side profile is from your left or right?

For some reason most people’s left side of their face looks better than their right. Also when you look at yourself in a mirror you might subconsciously focus more on the left side so you are used to seeing it more

Everyone has that. My left side Ramus is legit medium-long and that's with a retarded amount of downward growth whereas my right side appears a good deal shorter than the left side.
