When is ORG getting post notifications

What if when you follow someone it gave you a notification every time they post

There was a feature called watch, it was a button on a user profile where when clicked would make you get notis every time that user posted. It's built in to every xenforo forum by default (i think) but they removed it
It's still on .is tho
