I've seen this argument being made by people that posts in forums whose subjects are clearly targeted to people with no social life.
Imagine spending time discussing about politics and ideology in Internet forums and bashing "normies" as "degenerates" for partying, when these same "losers" would love to exchange lives with these "degenerates", or are you telling me that discussing about Putin and Trump is better than doing a menage à trois with a hot blonde and brunette chick?
