When you guys see something cute do you almost want to hurt it?

I have had this since childhood with cats where they look so cute I antagonize them and almost want to hurt them, but I don't do it? is this normal?, because I have heard the expression "your so good I could just eat you up". Is this just me taking it too literally? I have this problem with dogs too when they look so cute I have the tendency to tease torment and slap them but then cuddle and love them

I can relate. I think it's because of our tendency to hug it hard to protect it, and when we think about it logically it comes out as we want to crush it.

Yes. One time when I was a kid my mom brought me over to a birthday party for her friends daughter and at the house there was this cute little toddler girl wandering around and she was so tiny and cute that I put my foot in front of her when she was about to walk outside and tripped her so she fell down and started crying and I walked away.

no they ae cute to where I want to piss them off and make their life hell by making them so angry and teasing them and worse I don't want to type cuz feds might be after me. I have weird feelings towards cats
