Lets look at the great men theory. The people who's existence completely changed the course of history. Some include
Alexander
Genghis Khan
George Washington (Unless you count one sided elections as real elections )
Napoleon
Stalin
Even Ghandi?
All these men significantly changed the world and didn't rely on the citizens to democratically get them to where they are. Thats coz they were too high-t for that shit and realized that power does more talking.
Could you imagine if Alexander had to beg the street cleaner for his vote so he could invade Persia? No would respect him like they do today.
Someone like Julius Caesar who was in a SOMEWHAT democratic environment knew it was a load of shit. Thats why he said fuck you to the system and low-t senators had to gang up and backstab him coz they were too soy and afraid of facing him 1v1.
