Wouldn't they just use you to obtain free stuff at that point? Nowadays all these stuff are easily achievables with one little research on the internet tho.

Some people are too dumb to know how to even get this online free stuff...But if you are an incel, then yeah...offering stuff to people could make them accept you, all social interactions are transactional, people hang out with others if they can get something out of them.
If you're high in looks/status/money, everyone wants to be around you, their value also increases through association, they gain access to other people, opportunities, stuff, etc.; if you're low in these and basically have nothing to offer, no one wants to hang out or even be seen with you.

Classes work differently in Italy, they assign you in one group of students with generally 20-25 people in it, these 20 people will be the only people you'll stay with for whole high school.

This mean that if you pass 5-6 hours per day for 5 years with the same group of 20 people you develop strong relationships with them and they also start hang out all toghether, they also make group chats outside of the classic group to share information about school.

Just imagine if all your classmates are like brothers that do everything together and you are the only mf who's alone whole day and excluded from their chat groups in which there's everyone except you.
