I don't know if it's the good lighting or what, but the dopamine rush I get when looking at my face in the gym mirror is immeasurable. Anybody else in this situation?
I'm at a point in which to get a little bit of confidence boost I need to go to the gym and have a nice workout while looking at myself in the mirror.
The problem is that this makes me feel embarrassed, because I don't think it's normal to find pleasure and entertainment when looking at oneself in the mirror. Not only this, but I also feel almost intimidated when staring at myself while working out.
It's possible this is the start of a narcissistic personality disorder, so I think I'm going to research it and find ways to solve/mitigate it or maybe approach this matter in a healthier way.
I know, it's weird and it sounds like a brag, maybe even a meme, but I genuinely feel this way and I'm sure there is something unhealthy about it and was curious to know if anybody else was in this situation.
