When you ascend to hmtn+, it's more respectable rather than someone that's naturally hmtn as it reflects the time and dedication you've put in. All your hard work won't go unnoticed.

I disagree, if the ascension was drastic it usually means you'll have brainwashed yourself into injecting shit, and that usually comes with mental health side effects

That's an overgeneralization. Drastic improvement doesn't always imply "self-brainwashing", and not all ascensions involve "injecting shit." Even so, how would injecting various substances affect mental health if no side effects impact mental stability?

Even when substances are involved, it does not follow that mental health will be negatively impacted.

Obviously, if you are injecting, you are trying to better yourself in multiple ways. Insecurity doesn't always cause this, but I don't think that always results in mental health issues.

However I do agree with what you said regarding confidence and social experience. If only we were all born htn+.
