I have trouble getting up before noon. I think 3 PM is the earliest I can do it. Can you build muscle lifting just twice a week ? I'm older but I put on muscle easily. Unfortunately, I put on fat easily too.

4 days a week ideally. Whenever you can, I think there's no best time.

Your not gonna build alot of muscle at your age tbh. Maybe 10lbs at most over the years. If you get trt then definitely you have more potential. You can definitely cut alot of fat though, so long as you stick to a diet.

What do you mean dude? I was actually being serious most guys who start training at 20 years old can expect maybe 30lb lean tissue gain. 10lb of muscle is very reasonable at your age. Trt could genuinely be an option at 40. I know ill be starting in my mid 30s

Because it's bro science. Also, I believe we become what we speak over ourselves. Self fulfilling. If you believe you can't put on said amount of muscle you'll end up with that. Anyways, 10 lbs of muscle is better than nothing. If this 80 year old can lift, so can I

I've been going at 1am so the gym is basically empty.

The old guys who have muscle have been training since a young age. After 50 you basically cant gain any more and youll just be working on keeping what you have. Self affirmations work if you believe inthem same way as placebos

That guy in the video didn't start til he was over 50. I started lifting when I was 32. I put on about 25 lbs of muscle in a few years after that. I just need to get rid of flab. I don't want to get big anyway. Just lean and healthy. It's more realistic that way. I understand what you say, though. It is harder after a certain age, but nothing is set in stone.
