- rising depression

- less people having kids

- less families being formed

- people coping with drugs

- rapidly rising inceldom among men

- societal isolation. People talk and interact with each other less because of tech and social media

- good looking men having modern day harems

- LTR’s becoming more and more worthless due to people being unfaithful and cheating

- fucked up wages for everyone who isn’t rich

- messed up wealth distribution

- dwindling resources

where does civilization go from here?

More towards a modern variation of a socialist regime facilitated by the youth populist

It will be an experiment indeed, as it’s never been done in that manner by the US. It’s much different in places with much smaller populations and less diversity with a different economy and less guns, so it’s harder to compare.

Everything else AKA Trump being elected (then most likely re elected) is just delaying the inevitable by a few years maximum.

That’s why despite Bernie Sanders practically being a brain dead walking corpse is able to have such a vigorous following - as his ideas are full proof and in line with the upcoming most important and influential demographics (AKA the future of America)

It’s so over

In addition to the last 2, it is legitimate

Society is doomed man

This probably is hell tbh

I'm more concerned about the violence we will witness in the upcoming years.

I’m predicting most western countries to have a big recession in the next 2 or so years and complete economic collapse within 40 years.

After that, China will likely take over everything.

However, if the period of chaos after the collapse means the western population goes into anarchy, it should favour men heavily.

I’ll be 58 when that collapse happens. Over for me, I’ll be an old man waiting to fall over

I posted this on a lookism thread about predictions for the decade of the 2020s

Inceldom is going to become mainstream, probably sooner rather than later. We're already at 30% (self-reported so the real number is probably higher), so it wouldn't surprise me if we saw 50% or more by 2025.

As a result, we're going to see a massive uptick in male suicide and disenfranchisement which will result in amplified rotting/coping behaviors and more ERs. The average man is already an anxious video game addicted depressed neurotic mess, we're just going to see more and more of it.

Luckily, the online dating and social media bubble is going to pop in the very late 2020s because of all the reasons above. When men stop giving whores validation, these platforms will die out. By then, we're going to begin to see a resurgence in a "natural" and "minimalist" lifestyle with a focus on mental health, not unlike how the technology obsessed zeitgeist in the 50's gave way to the hippie movement in the 60's. However, this won't really take hold until the 2030s, and will only happen with mid-late zoomers and early millennials. Early zoomers are still going to be reliant on tech since they have had a phone in their hands from literally birth and as a result, their neurotransmitters are completely and irrevocably fucked.

Trump will win reelection because most voters over 30 are primarily concerned with maintaining the status quo and don't give a fuck about politics. The senate will also retain its republican majority, preventing Trump from being removed from office. That being said, the overton window will obviously shift further left in response, but it will mostly be contained in online circles, kind of like how it is now. Whatever dissent does leak out will just manifest as more impotent protests. Essentially it'll be a repeat of the last few years.

However, I don't think it's likely that Trump will finish his term. He's an fat fuck who's obviously been hiding some health condition, plus he'll be 78 by 2024. I would not be shocked if he keeled over from a heart attack. Some far left democrat president will then be elected in 2024, such is the pendulum pattern that has held true for a long time now. I'm not knowledgeable enough to comment on how EU or other world politics will unfold.

The focus of most tech will shift to healthcare since the only real frontiers left are space travel, fusion energy, and quantum computers, all of which require enormous funding and won't produce immediate results for our generation (with the exception of quantum computing). Immunotherapy will be perfected which will cure most cancers, but obesity will continue to rise in the United States and will result in a larger amount of deaths due to heart disease.

Electric and self-driving cars are a forced meme and won't kill the internal combustion engine, I predict a maximum of 30% of cars on the road will be electric by 2029 (at least in the USA), and most will be owned by rich people or taxi companies.

Basically, the bulk of the 2020s are just going to be an amped up version of the late 2010s.

Politics and culture will swing back towards the right wing, happens in cycles every 20-30 years. Left wing, uber liberalism has kind of run its course and for some reason it never goes to center, society always overcompensates
