especially if the person standing next to you is taller than you and has a smaller skull than you, it makes your proportions look more ridiculous than it already is. there's a reason cartoon and comic characters have their heads look small relative to their bodies

you should only have a larger skull if your body can balance it out.

it comes from the fact that virtually all male models have tall dolichocephalic skulls, which makes their heads look rather large compared to their bodies.

the issue is that people interpret it as having a huge head is attractive and then apply it to other skull shapes i.e brachy/mesocephalic skulls, in reality their skulls are rather narrow even though they are tall.
