Where to get CBCT scan in the UK?

I've called a couple of clinics and none of them seem like a viable option.

First you have to pay a check-up fee which is £25-£50. After that you're not even guaranteed a CBCT scan if the dentist doesn't deem it necessary.

Most clinics doesn't even give you a picture of your own jaw, they say they have to send directly to a doctor and I can't access it.

Thank God I found a clinic where if I bring a USB stick they let me export it but like I said. CBCT scan isn't guaranteed and costs £250.

However, I have problems with my jaw so I shouldn't be refused a CBCT scan.

I'm looking to get a CBCT this week and want to officially starting my Bimax process within 2 months. I will update throughout the process if I my plan goes accordingly.

I will create a separate thread when I start consultations with surgeons from Turkey. I will talk about everything there.

Can someone suggest the quickest and most cost/effective way of getting CBCT scans in the UK?

Scan.com does CT scan for £350 in London or Manchester, all you’ll need is a referral from any maxfac, can be one of your Turkish ones.

You can also try dentists that do implants, they often have their own CBCT scanner. Should be under £200 and again you’ll probably need a referral.

Do you have a cooperating ortho yet?

You can do that but you may get stuck if they don’t have an orthodontist they already work with in the UK. I contacted basically every ortho in Scotland and none would touch it.

I mean a dentist could figure out 4 problems with my jaw by just looking at it. I’m going to try the clinic I found and hope they take CBCT scan after the initial examination. I asked and they said I could take my images home the same day if i bring a USB
