3 is better for a banner, 1 is better for an avi

Avatars are best if the focus is close up. For example the focus here being the guy in the gifs, which number 1 does best. Number 3 would look weird on an avatar because of this aswell.

just imagine my avatar if she was further away from the camera..

looks weird.. right?
