Post 1920s wars aren’t as interesting etc I think the late 1800s and maybe early 1900s was the last time I could find war interesting, there’s a type of distance and the technology wasn’t so absurd as it is now making things more interesting

The cold war is by far the most interesting. The Napoleonic wars were the most awe inspiring. WWI was the least interesting, but the most pivotal. And WWII was the most destructive.
