Yes many are either white/med-passing. That's true but you're overstating it. It's literally the small western part. 90-95% of the rest of the country is swarthy. I think you know I was in Antalya last month. They were way swarthier than people Istanbul. It was so obvious when I saw a white person and 99% of the time it was a russian coz they had light eyes and hair.

Iran probably has 1%-ish white / med passing people too.

You're thinking of the Istanbul / Izmir bubble. It's 10% at best. That's in Istanbul. I've been to both Greece and Turkey the Greeks are way whiter / med passing than them. Just take a look at a walking tour that isn't a western city like those two. Where 90% of the country actually live.

My buddy dated a Turkish Cypriot girl who looked 100% white and cos she had a European name as opposed to some Turkish or Muslim name she passed as “EE”. I even know an Austrian girl who I thought was a Turk cos her slightly darker skin dark eyes and hair but she is fully EE I saw her mother and she was blonde lol


Point is there’s massive overlap with Turks and Slavs even lighter Levantine have overlap with Slavs like Bella Hadid but she’s prob mixed but if you look at her face properly you can see the Arab/JEW in her

I'm not denying what you're saying but 30% is way too much. I'd say 10% because we are talking about the WHOLE country.

Don't you think most people's pheno changes if they get lighter hair and eyes? Like fr I'd probably pass as Spanish with green eyes and blonde hair.
