Compact midface always look better it is sign of good development of maxilla so

If by compact you mean vertically short you are wrong.

Cameron Alborzian has a long maxilla but is still regarded as a top 3 maxilla oat.

And then you have Jordan Barrett who has a super short midface also regarded as a top tier maxilla.

Its more about the anterior growth of the maxilla and the occlusal plane angle

Midface ratio depends on how far your eyes are and how long is your midface.

The perfect one would be having middle third around 33% of total face lenght, and having perfect IPD with one eye sepearion.

In other words - depends....

Facial thirds theory is bullshit.

Koinophilic and dimorphic humans don't have perfect facial thirds

Lower third should be a bit larger than upper, but I THINK middle should stay around 33% if PERFECT anyways.

You could probably get away with it being smaller than upper one, but having small lower third could be shitty(Short face syndrome)

the actual measurements matter more than how they compare to each other in a "ratio".

Ratios are based on measurements... and actual lenght... uhh it's little bit unobjeftive and there is lots of cases where you would fall off trying to fix the ratios because other ones would fall off. It's hard to explain but I hope you understand.

There is a reason why there is ranges for ratios and not just blatant numbers.

There's 0 smv difference irl, but the original looks better, partly due to the fact that the 2nd's lips are less curved than the original. Positively curved lips is a high-iq trait.

According to this post of yours(Nuclear's), the ideal bizygomatic width is 141mm Β± 1mm.

Ian Somerhalder has a ~127mm bizygomatic according to these 2 images, but still looks wide-faced

Interesting study. I didn't mean for the lips curvature to change, I'm just bad at morphing lmao.

I would say that the nasal height seems to be a very masculine feature, so Im having body dysmorphia right now on whether I should hardmax it or not with a downgraft, although Giant said it looks good. I'll probably keep my nose as it is rn, tbh.

As for Ian Somehalder, it was measured wrong as it appears that his zygos are around 150mm. 127mm bizygomatic width is a death tier falio your face would be extremely pinched. If your new to measurements it'll take a while to understand how measurements look on a face.

As for the ideal bizygomatic width, Im more inclined to say now that the ideal seems to be around 144mm, not 141mm. This is actually great news for me, bcz I have a 147mm bizygomatic width .

No offense, but you should probably try things that are much higher ROI than that, mainly forehead implants and chin implants. If you're genuinely planning a bimax, don't go through with the chin implants tho.

I scaled his pupils to mm in gimp and it calculated them for me.

It's kind of impossible that it was miscalculated unless the image was lens-distorted.

how tf u converted pixels into mm?

yes his skill is actually on smaller side

his bizygo is 15cm. The iris method is bad because of lens distortion and scaling which will throw off your measurements.

12.7 cm would look even more narrow than this. Look at any image of Ian and you can tall he has an above average width (average is 14.3 cm).

Using this software:

Do you have any images of him that you believe are not subject to lens distortion?

Although I made him look slightly crazy, the right guy's horseface was reduced even though I didn't touch his facial width. It is about proportions.

If you want proof that only measurements matter, you can analyze the best faces in the world. You will realize that their features hover around average measurements.

When I measured 27 models, the average IPD came out to 64.8mm, the average is 65mm which is ideal. I was planning on making a thread to prove it but my logic has to be PERFECT and Im too lazy.
