I don't know Man. Its really crazy. There are mirrors that I look fat, other gaunt, others just perfect.

Different cameras and angels are the same too...

It's crazy because I end up not knowing how I look like. I only trust one mirror in my bathroom, if I look good there, then I'm getting iois outside.

It's a quite debilitating situation as u can't be sure what u really look like.

Mirrors show your flipped image and this is what your brain has seen for as long as you've lived. Your brain alters the way your eyes see you. Like let's say your left eye drops a little, your brain will make it look equal.

Get someone to take a picture of you on the front camera. That's what you look like. A video would be better.

the best way to see your face is taking a pictures 2 metres distant from you

One of the rules for us with BDD is never look at any reflection outside home. Specially if ure trying to have a good time, you most likely won't like what u see and end up ruining your night completely.

Lol not everyone is the same. I definitely do not "see what I want to see". If anything, I see more than what I should lol.

The reason why I can trust my bathroom mirror blindly and not a camera is because if I go out and get iois and looks then it means I do look fine.

Mmm OK I see. I stay away 10 cm from the mirror and analyse every little detail.

This allows me to have a deeper and better understanding of my face.

For example if there's one day I don't eat or drink water, next one I'll see changes in my underye support and skin overall, but that's something I could only see in a mirror up close and not a picture.

That being said it's ideal for u to look good everywhere lol.
