Anywhere outside of the big cities, especially Paris and Marseilles. Countryside towns are quite nice. You got some nice towns like Nantes, Tolouse, Reims, Bordeaux, Orleans, Lyon, Strasbourg, Colmar, Dijon, Besancon, Troyes, etc.
