Every religion i believe. I've seen Hindus, Buddists, Jains and Sikhs giving food to poor people in their temples. Islam also have similar thing from their masjids

Islam, encourages sadaqah year round, and requires zakat, which is donating to the needy. And on eids you have the options give food/meat to someone but in this case it doesn’t have to b homeless.
