You can mix it with minoxidil but I don't recommend using RU it can mess with your heart
currently using ketaconozole shampoo 2%, scared of using dutasteride cos im still young need smth that doesnt go systemic

unless you roid or your hair loss is super aggressive, you shouldn't lose much from 16 to 19. And if you hop on DUT at 19, you will likely reverse most of what you had lost

should i just cope with 2.5mg minoxidil and continue with my ketaconozole shampoo for a few years then get on dut, im natty now but i do plan on hopping on in the future (prob 18-early to mid 20s) (also not sure if i lost a lot of hair i started noticing being norwood 1 november last year and not that much recession happened)

if my hairloss isnt too bad u recon i could cope with oral minoxidil for a bit and get on dutasteride at 18-20

Maybe my times coming 😬
If you get sides stop it asap.
You know RU blocks the androgen receptor, if it goes systemic it can damage your heart (and more). There is a reason they didn't go further with the research and dropped it. If I remember right, the usual explanation is that it was dropped because one company acquired another or something of the sort. I did a lot of research into it a few years back and it all seems really shady, the most likely reason is that they found out something during the trials which would make the drug unfeasible, either due to the side effects, systemic absorbtion or its properties

It wasn’t a safety issue. The lack of financing and the state of the market at the time were major factors. RU was being researched around the same time finasteride was introduced, and finasteride quickly came to dominate the hair loss industry. As a result, the company developing RU likely saw FDA approval as financially unviable, believing they couldn't compete or generate a return on the substantial investment required for clinical trials.

RU WILL do systematic to an extent. Your heart isn’t going to explode.
