. The "white card" method is creating a fake bank website to trick people into entering their account number and PIN. Scammers would then use this information to create a counterfeit card for their own use, but banks have now countered this technique.
A newer scam these days is the salami attack which involves stealing small amounts like $1 or $2 from thousands of accounts resulting in a large total sum, and since such small amounts usually go unnoticed, they often don't get reported. However, pulling this off is more difficult, as it requires an IT professional and someone inside the bank with access to these accounts but there are many instances of this being pulled off.
