She got hit by a basketball at 0.035 seconds, moving in a perfect arc going upwards to presumably the basket. Instead missing spectacularly and clocking this poor thirsty thot in the dome. A path that, in the vacuum of space, would be incredibly difficult without additional help, but here on Earth, requires no additional effort. As the weight of the ball would cause it, at the apex of it's path, to careen downwards at an equal yet opposite direction of it's starting path, which happens to be right at this poor reporter's curious cephalon. An effect first documented in the 17th century that pertains to large celestial bodies universally.
In other words: Gravity.
