Both opinions are right. It would be like if everyone started using Japanese sliding doors, no one would imagine them as Japanese anymore because they would then be used by everyone. Japanese doors would then be the normal and basic door, and Japanese door owners would be thought as very basic door owners, whereas non Japanese people would have unique doors
