But fast twitch doesn't correlate with stopping power. Sure, velocity matters, but there's plenty of guys who aren;t explosive but have absolutely thudding power. Great example is Gennady Golovkin who has devestated like 15 black guys in his pro boxing career with brutal knockouts, and ate their best shots and didn't flinch. I also believe there's something to be said for fast twitch muscles in the upper body for whites. Look at someone like Ramon Dekkers. Find one black kickboxer with his combination of speed and power for his size. You won't.

Jon Jones is actually pretty fucking slow twitch. He just has a 85 inch reach, a good wrestler and is really technically proficient. He's never won for his athleticism.NB4HiS bRoThErS ThO, hes not that athletic, period.

Silva is also not super twitchy,Adesanya is however.

Bring Slavs to where my family is from in America, and it would be a fair fight. My family lives in the mountains, hunts bears and couldn't tell you what a smart phone is even now.


I'll say this, if you pick 100 random Germanics and 100 random Slavs in 2020, and make them fight, the Slavs would probably win handily.
