Depends where you get your data. All we have to go on is the measured averages and not even one of the measured studies has the average at 6 inches for anywhere in the west. Its almost always around 5 to 5.5 inches. Not really anything else to know about it, there can always be more studies and more data but based on what we have it seems reasonable.
