Ive always resonated with this term, if you asked to name something specific I'm good at i couldn't really answer you. But I've always/am extremely well rounded and usually slightly above average in things but not wildly above or below.

Im not really great at any sports but can play them all, Im not good at an instrument, I'm semi to highly knowledgeable about a variety of topics- Human physiology, literature, music, film, television, video games, history, time theory, ancient philosophy, looks theory, politics, pro sports, etc

In terms of intelligence, I've always been a bit above average in most topics, never super great or bad at any.

I'm the jack of all trades kind of guy with diverse experiences. I have dipped my foot in almost everything. I have served in the army, I have gymcelled, play video games, read books, read histroy, the newspaper everyday and I go to tier 1 uni, I can also play most sports and know a little bit of guitar. I'm competent and decent at everything I do but I'm not great or an expert in anything. Maybe web development but I've met many people who are better than me.

Honestly being willing and open to new experiences and learn from people is the most important life skill you can have

Same. 3 years ago even I was a NEET. After clearing the entrance exams, I was stuck waiting for my admission letter because of the covid lock down the college had pushed the reopening date and for four months, I did absolutely nothing but stay in my room. It was honestly miserable. I gained weight, felt depressed, developed a porn addiction and almost lost my mind rotting . I can’t fathom how people here endure the NEET lifestyle for years. Sure, I enjoy rotting too after a long day of classes or work, but waking up every day with nothing to look forward to is just unbearable. That kind of lifestyle isn’t for me tbh. I like being challenged, learning new things and gaining new experiences

I am but it's nothing everyday people will appreciate,

So I'm robbed of the ability to talk about cool stuff, as they likely won't understand

I've got lots of skills from work and hobbies

But to explain this stuff that's not known alot and present it to sound cool is hard to do unless your very nt

I guess this is a good way of putting, I’m decently nt but even then nobody will care at all about what niche show I’m watching or random physics thing or something like that, it’s hard to explain any of my interests to ppl

I do. There's a free newspaper stand in my hostel, and it's way more convenient to grab a paper and browse through anything interesting over breakfast than to watch a news channel with someone yelling at me at 6 AM in the morning to start my day.

Same here, man. Pretty sure it’s an ADHD thing. I hyperfocus on something for a month, get obsessed, then drop it and move on.

One month it’s fitness, the next it’s music production (FL Studio still installed), then it’s MMA. I get decent at a lot of things but never stick with one long enough to master it.

Guarantee your just average and over valuing yourself your not "extremely well rounded" you are dead average. The reason you feel this way is because your average. The reason why so many people will agree with your take is not because your thinking something some profound and new, its because they are average too and your all in a 100 iq circle jerk. You wont accept this outcome but it will show in the later years when you start drowning in mediocrity.

Sometimes I feel like I know they would think it's cool but they have to see it with their own eyes to appreciate it,

It's frustrating cause I know they'd think it's cool if anyone else except me explained it, but if I explain it it's just going to come out non nt

It happens with me sometimes people think I'm trying to be arrogant or something
I get this when I'm telling a story, people can think I'm arrogant where really I am just telling a life experience story that's meant to be light hearted and cool or funny but they take it like I'm chest pumping and being arrogant

I would imagine you would experience a similar thing when you tell an army story, people probably think your trying to sound tough and chest pumping where really your just telling a funny or interesting story,

I experience this it's annoying as fuck so now I have to hold back on sharing cool stories because people completely don't get it
