Not gore for me, well maybe it could've played a part, but I just don't gaf about life like that. Like in 2 generation no one will remember you. Before you were born the world was spinning, after you're gone it'll continue to do the same. Life is an anomaly, our default state is nothingness, consciousness was just a blip in eternity.

Maybe it wasn't the gore for you, but I highly doubt that being cognizant of the fact you won't be remembered made you view life as worthless, there's definitely more to it
