I don’t chew for nonsensical copes as to widen my jaw or something as it will only make you look more bloated and will give you TMJ problems.
I’m not talking about hard gums like falim, just the regular sportlife chewing gum which is relatively soft.
I chew it when I go to the gym, 30 minutes a day.
It also makes jutting easier.
With jutting I mean this:
Jutting doesn't imply giving yourself an underbite, as that always looks bad, it's mostly making your top and bottom incisors make contact at the bottom of the top incisor and the top of the lower incisor, which adds facial height.
This is true for SFScels.
Also moving the jaw forward, even if not to the point of having the incisors contact already demonstrates you have an overbite = at least the lower jaw is recessed.
