Yes it can. The plane wreckage acted as an incindiary. It was like liquid lava. Jet fuel leaked into the stairs and stairwells below. The building was finished back in the 1970s and was not designed to withstand a 747 jet to deliberately fly into the epicenter.

They explained all that , and I'm no expert, but the building imploding would cause quite a lot of damage, even a block or two away. Also just because explosives may have been used does not mean it was not terrorists. The Muslims tried to bomb the WTC back in 1993.

The falling was vertical meaning the explosion was internal. And likely planted.
And now how did the airforce didn't react when the two planes were hijacked and heading to an unauthorized area?
