The NHS wont prescribe me anything above retinol, which doesnt even help because its "too risky".
Can someone give me an honest list of side effects they got? I know it makes your lips dry but im def not kissing anyone anyway so dont care.

Dry lips aren't a side effect.
Your skin is going to be drier due to the inhibition of sebum production. That is the intended effect of isotretinoin usage.
The (potential) side effects are quite well-documented and you can find out about them with a simple Google search, but the severity of them is generally heavily exacerbated and you would be fine given you have no underlying conditions and are responsible in your dosages, making sure to get random lipids tests frequently to ensure you don't have elevated liver enzymes.

Accutane doesn’t affect height growth during puberty unless taken at high doses for long periods. The main concern is with extreme dosages, not typical usage.

Side effects are also really over exaggerated. The cholesterol is gonna go back down after treatment + it takes cholesterol upwards of decades to build on arteries at elevated levels, also liver damage ain’t common but even if it happens then Dw since it’s same as having a beer every day for 4 months or something:lul: you’ll get minuscule damage which will fix very easily

Yeah, 40mg per day is considered a moderate dose, not extreme
