What was your experience like and why did you take it in the first place?

I’m going to be talking to my psychiatrist about naltrexone to help with dissociation/depersonalisation-derealisation, addiction and depression.

I’ve already discussed memantine with him briefly and he’s open to it.

You are wasting your time and opening a door to potential side effects, all for nothing in return. Do not take them

Bro doesn’t even know what they are lmao. Everything has ‘potential side effects’ because not everyones body is the same

Go ahead and take them dumbass

You don’t even know what they are or what they do faggot. Not all drugs are the boogie man. Jfl at you lecturing people on muh potential side effects not realising that even foods and basic vitamins have potential side effects :feelsuhh:

Only used amantadine

Meh similar enough, how’d it go
Pretty dopaminergic increases sex drive ( lowers threshold for arousal ie) a lot , somewhat dissociative for me even at relatively low doses. I pair it w coffee to reduce the brain fog . It has cell water balancing properties which is what I mainly take it for to guard against emf . It also makes me drowsy sometimes but when I meditate on it I get into you could say altered levels of consciousness ( in a good way )

Makes sense. I think if my psych prescribed me memantine it would have to be with naltrexone so I don’t jack off more. Probably the wisest thing given that porn addiction is associated with structural changes in opioid receptor density/signalling (plus shrinkage of VTA cell bodies) and naltrexone would I think prevent beta-endorphins from binding to mu-opioid receptors, disinhibiting GABA and increasing mesolimbic dopamine release.

Hopefully this shit works and resets my fucked up brain within months. But what I still can’t really figure out what the neurophysiological effect of combining LDN with memantine, fluvoxamine, low-dose Seroquel, and amphetamine would be on opioid and σ-receptors.

Do you drink dairy , homogenised cow’s milk leads to more mu opiod receptor agonism. Beta casein which would normally be broken apart in colon now reaches intestine due to being trapped in micelles from homogenisation and exerts it’s pro opioid influence by slowing down gut transit time, number of bowel movements you have in a day can be a rough gauge

I used to drink it regularly but not so much now, and do you mean raw milk not homogenised and pasteurised? Plus the mu-opioid receptor agonism from beta-caseine I assume would be quite insignificant in the grand scheme of things and in increasing opioid receptor and VTA density.

Raw gets rid of the folate receptor auto antibody problem but the beta casein problem still remains .

Its not insignificant as it slows down gut transit time which leads to a lot of other problems. I would assume it’s worse for some and somewhat safer for others. Most European cows have the A1 type I think which leads to a synthesis of lot more beta casein

I’ll test this out before I get put on naltrexone . The effect of betacasomorphin 7 on humans isn’t well established though.

I’ll have a look, thoughts on this tho?

Downregulating cb1 also increases dopamine release I think , you can perhaps try that

Naltrexone is good idea, although ive heard oral has dogshit bioavailability

I don’t know enough about the opiod receptors to really speak , kratom seems to work mor but also offers anti depressant effects and so does Tianeptine .

Opiod and endocannabinoid system probably have some cross talk
