How has your skin handled Retin-A? Did you build up slower or just went with applying daily? Did you get any irritation or redness for the first few weeks?

Me. God like irration. I looked like shit for 3 days everytime i used the fucking cream.

I got PTSD tbh. It's no longer irritated and i need to giga moisturize cuz dry skin overshadows any possible benefit that i could be getting tbh.

My results Idk if i have had any :lul: :lul: which means that nothing drastic has really happened. Started in January.

Think about long term benefits though. If it is like everyone says, Retin-A should slow down skin aging which is still something really good if you ask me, especially if you’re past 25 years old.
How old are you btw?

First 2-3 weeks were brutal. My face was literally burned. Currently I use 0,05% everyday and most what I get is some peeling.

Did you use it everyday for the first 2-3 weeks?

no, every 2-3 days. I literally got my face fucked up after the first day lol
Damn might have to use moisturizer before using retin-a, I think it’s called buffering?

Retin A everyday since 15th of jan

still occassionally breaking out, but skin is noticeably smoother now

Same question as before - how did your skin react to Retin-A? What strength did you use? Did you start Retin-A for antiaging or acne?

start 0.5 daily, moisterise twice a day. First month or so lots of peeling, itchiness and redness. Now only occassional peeling in sensitive areas like mouth and nose. Used for both anti aging and acne

Started with 0.025 % for 4 weeks twice a week the first two weeks then every day for the other 2 weeks, I didn't have any dryness whatsoever and I didn't even use moisteriser. After that I upped the dosage to 0.05%, it dried my skin just around the bottom of the corner of the lips so I started using moisteriser with it.
Noticed results the 3rd week after using it 100% legit product .

I use it for 6 years, started daily .025 and still use that. I look young for my age (40 and look early 30s). I don't know how much is retin a or other skin care stuff (e matrix, ipl, and others). I also use Botox and fillers.

My idea is: it is proven to work so I use it and don't think about it any further.

I get compliments on my skin all the time. If they ask I tell them I try to eat healthy and sometimes put sunscreen on, implying it's my good genes at work ;)

I also suspect that I didn't have any sides like irritation because I was on a caloric deficit.

But what about the subcutaneous fat loss

i went fuck it and started of with 0.1 every other day it got flaky for a while but it fixed it self i did fuck up by putting it under my eyes since it removed some of the fat from it

Im on my first week eith 0.025 and is fucking painful asf my skin is burning hot you could literally cook an egg on my face

If you buffer you won't get any issues, idiots just start using this shit and don't even moisturise.

no issues at all, dont even have to moisturize with 0.025% moving to 0.1% soon

I have been taking it for about a year and notice slight positive differences, but retin A is about the long-term anti aging effect.
I am currently taking 0.05% and never felt a burning skin. Maybe they sold you benzoylperoxide.

Ok I don’t know what’s going on but contrary to what people have been saying on this thread I haven’t had any redness, dry skin or anything like that. I used Retin-A only three times, last Wednesday, Sunday and this Wednesday so maybe that’s why? Next week I’m going to use it 3 times a week compared to 2 times now.

im on %0.1 daily ama cuck
