why is academic success still considered high iq lol there is correlation with iq and academic success but i doesnt necessarily mean that someone is high iq just because higher grades or whatever they are most likely higher than average yes but high iq??

The newest SAT's are also much less g loaded

Plenty of very smart kids also check out of school. School is primarily a measure of compliance, and moderately of intelligence.

I posted a thread on the Visual Pattern Memory test and a few people scored the max or near the max so there's quite a few high IQ people on this site, in fact there's probably a higher preponderance of high IQ people on this site compared to the general population given the sample size and the number of high scores.

theres some correlation but then again it doesn't mean shit what academic area specifically and can we accurately even measure it against others

There is a decent correlation, and cause most people don't take official IQ test, a lot of the times, it is the best indicator available. Like 95% of people who get 1500 on SAT probably have 120+iq, but you couldn't give a decent measure of IQ using any other non iq test.

well said but i dont think no test truly measures proper human intelligence also iq doesn't even correlate with actions

i think we can to some extend tho. from my observation most of the engineer/doctor etc normies have higher iq than other white collar normies

Only the old SAT was a good indicator of what your IQ is. The new one was designed so that even a 85 IQ nigger can score high on it.
