Neurochemical-driven cognitive dissonance reduction: Defending a belief not for its truth but rather for the neurological effect it gave you while consuming it.

This mainly occurs through social media. Echo Chambers and such. The algorithm that can basically read your mind gives you the perfect dopamine enriched videos to fuck with you head. This can happen no matter what your beliefs are.

When you attack someone's beliefs, they see it as attacking there happiness, sovereignty, livelihood. Pursuing the truth is seen as harsh attacks on communities.

This explains all the mental gymnastics of all sides, corners and centre of the political sphere.

Implications
Nothing except walking mindlessly to project 2030 heaven will ever happen. You often hear people say "8 billion people vs 3,000" reffing to g-pop vs uber rich. Not realising the 3k have resources and are completely united, the 8bil aren't. Constant infighting means forever no progress.

Its obviously om purposes, but it worked a d there's nothing we can do.

This also explains the "soy-ness" of many. Not wanting to offend anyone because deep down they understand this.

Obviously this may struggle with however you define truth, but you still likely understand the message.

I think it's clear the message but the wording may be poorly structured

People ingore what they can't see or physically touch for example abstract things or things that don't really affect their lifes and it's correlated with iq and ability to not just organize meaningfully but form an efficient system and who would've thought that wealthy countries have higher iq citizens? They can't unite because of fog of information in media which only makes the world look too complex and chaotic and it make them feel they cannot influence anything meaningfully. I don't think it's a iq thing. Maybe you give people too much credit. Humans are animals and easy to high jack emotions and use are tribalistic nature against use. We aren't meant for Globalisation therefore people latch to whatever ever world view resonates, then emotion get attached, creating what im talking about. High iq or not
