I've noticed a consistent pattern where I feel tired every afternoon after lunch, regardless of what I eat (even meals without carbohydrates). This fatigue has prompted me to explore my eating habits and their impact on my energy levels and sleep.
My Observations:
- No matter the composition of my lunch, I experience a significant drop in energy around 1-2 PM. This leads me to feel sluggish and unfocused for the rest of the afternoon.
- To combat this, I've shifted to eating two large meals each day: a substantial breakfast at 7 AM and a large dinner around 6:30 PM. I’ve found that this approach significantly reduces my afternoon fatigue, even when my evening meal is high in calories.
Questions for the Community:
- I've read some studies suggesting that eating larger meals earlier in the day can help regulate circadian rhythms and improve sleep quality. Is this something others have experienced?
- I’m curious if this is a sustainable approach in the long term. Does anyone have experience with intermittent fasting or similar eating patterns that have positively influenced sleep and energy levels?
