I guess the most obvious reason is that I didn't get any sleep, but this never happened before. I am just anxious for no reason. My heart is beating fast and it's like I am scared of something. I just wanna sit and relax, but my thoughts constantly racing. what happened? how do I stop it?

Too much acid fried your motherboard

Most likely just shit brain chemistry , which is most likely caused by bad gut health, which is caused by bad diet. Most notably low GABA and high cortisol cause anxiety/ unease.

Avoid stimulants, take magnesium glycinate
and ashwagandha

and check your thyroid too

Relax, you just had covid, obviously you are not gonna feel as the way you normally do for a few weeks. Rest as much as you can, not getting any sleep while you are recovering from any kind of sickness is not a good idea anyways
On the scientific side because of not sleeping all night long, as your body produces much more cortisol than it normally does, it will elevate your heart rate. Cortisol brings the heart rate up. Just sleep if thats the case, it will go away on its own when you wake up...
sickness=stress=cortisol
overall stress=cortisol
not sleeping all night=cortisol
so more cortisol than usual, you get the picture...
