I think the only ones that take their shirt off in public are the guys who work out, so it's creating the perception that it's more common than it actually is.

Maybe it's more common amongst the younger generation that I'm not a part of (I'm 27), certainly when I looked around at university or in my office currently I don't think everyone is jacked and shredded.

I think young guys are becoming more focused on looking their best even though they're not neccessarily aware of the blackpill as a concept, they've just adapted looksmaxing behaviour as part of normal every day life. I've heard from some people it's becoming fairly common for young guys to wear make up on nights out, not sure how true that is.

As for why more young guys may be lifting - social influences like love island, tiktok, instagram. Girls ever rising standards on how an attractice man should look.
