Why are barbers and stylists so incompetent?

They never cut my hair the way I ask, and the worst thing is that it takes time for the hair to grow back.

I always show them the image of how I want my hair, and they literally look at it for like 2 seconds, and according to them they already know what to do.

They always cut their hair much shorter than they should, and nothing like the example image remains.

Also the problem is that in many barbershops, not only one person cuts but several, and you will get a random barber that you do not know how skilled he is.

I'm tired of this, what should I do? I'm not sure if learning to cut my hair myself is the solution, what do you think?

I mean life is short and hair is very important, I can't be leaving it to chance every month for a random barber/hairstylist. I don't know if I'll be bald next year.

Cuz nearly every barber has one speciality, or bias( for zoomer barbers it high fade)
and they cant fucking do any other hair properly its the reality
switch till you find a good one which suits you

Yes, but a lot is common sense, you don't have to have talent to know how long you should leave your hair to make it look like the example image. It's just that it doesn't make sense how short my hair leaves compared to the one in the example, which isn't even a complicated haircut.

Go to a black barber or Dominican barber, they are the best barbers imo.

stop going to shitty cheap no-appointment hairdressers. Get a good hairstylist that only cuts on appointment, that's slightly more expensive but knows what he is doing. Also don't go to women.

I finally found a good hairstylist, but he is only good with short male hairstyles. He doesn't know much about hair with length.
