Why are blue eyes more attractive than green eyes despite being less rare?

Got a couple theories:

1. Blue is friendlier becuase you can see their pupils more and perceive feelings more easily. ESPECIALLY if you have A10 colored eyes or sum like it.
2. Eurocentric beauty standards (I doubt it)
3. Fits coloring better for most people than green.
4. Blue is rarer in nature whereas green is everywhere. (but the ocean is blue?)

just something i was thinking about, am i trippin and wasting my time or what.

Because blue is way more rare in nature therefore it's perceived beauty is higher.

Edit: just read the body of your post. It's number 4 more than it is the other ones.

ur wasting your time
the imporant thing is the lightness of it light green eyes will mog dark blue eyes its just a case of how noticeable it is that your eye color is something other than brown

i agree. i have green eyes but they look so murky like a swamp or sum and its not like wooow. Only in good light they look pretty but yeah lightness is the stat that matters mostly imo

Look at that table of eye colors you just posted. Humans throughout history are very familiar with every single one except for blue. The only time you will see a blue color in nature is the ocean. Any other body of water is likely not really blue and more muddy or clear. I'd wager that humas have spent the last few hundreds of thousands of years looking at shades of brown and green way more than the ocean.
