Why are English teachers so left

I was having an English class today and somehow the conversation went to immigrants and what good they bring to our countries. I disagreed with the teacher for obvious reasons most notable being that they are uneducated monkeys and rapists/pedos with no respect (not how I phrased it) and got immediately 1 day detention
