I was in Milan, Turin, and the NW Italian countryside last month and came away with those exact same thoughts. I’m having such a hard time with the reverse culture shock. I make $90k USD and have a comfortable lifestyle here but I’ve never felt so empty inside, I’ll trade it to go be around attractive girls in person again the first chance I get.
