Are they insecure and wanna compare themselves to the girl? Is this a good thing ? To see if they stand a chance with you ? Or quite the opposite to see if the girl is gl and she's dating down?

Because women know how intrinsically materialistic, mercenary and vain other women are. Women will not question why other women are with chad because he is extremely good looking but if you are not chad and have a girl then that means she must be gaining something from being with you and the better looking your girl is then the more valuable the things she is getting from you must be, otherwise she would go get it from someone else. So yes, basically they will be trying to judge your value based off how good looking your girl is

I have heard this theory as well. Regardless of looks etc, having a gf means you offer something that other girls may find attractive. Maybe money, looks , dick game/size , personality (emotional tampon jfl)

Well one girl proceeded to cope saying: “no girl like that looks after guys like you” but she is seething femcel and miserable she even confirmed it herself. Then she proceeded to tell her other girl bf that my girl is cute etc

What you said in your post is true and also because women only really care about sex and relationships. If some guy in school started talking about getting bimax and a chin implant many users here would feel at least tempted to sperg out and start talking about it with them.
