Why are hallow cheeks considered a Halo?

I legit have a psl god lower third. When I go on a cut and lean out, my jawline literally looks flexed 24/7, my cheek points showing which causes me to have hallow cheeks. I literally only got compliments on them from man asking me how I got them. My mom made fun of me saying I looked ugly and starved, my girl said I should eat more. Everybody who saw me after my cut said dam men u got smaller, until I take my oversized shirt off or wear a tank top.

One time I was wearing a wife beater and my mom said your face and body don’t match. Cuz my face looked lean af with hallow cheeks and my shoulders were massive.

Is hallow cheeks male gaze or I’m I missing something here?

Hollow cheeks being hollow aren't what make them attractive. As Sozz mentioned it's the fact that they signify proper facial development. Hollow cheeks come paired with very defined robust faces, it's how hollow cheeks are formed. It's also why buccal fat removal looks like dog water because it's the bones that matter, not the hollow cheeks. Having hollow cheeks while being boneless just looks skeletal and malnourished.

They aren’t a halo. Good bone structure is. Lean faces reveal good bone structure. Hollow cheeks is just a common side effect.
