Why are horsecels so rare in real life ?

I see recessed dudes everyday, but i very rarely see long midfaced subhuman.
Unironically the only dude with a long midface that i've seen irl was chadlite and had insane zygos.

So why ? Long midface is a consequence of downard growth and downward growth is extremely common in most countries.

I think maybe your face only grows down when you mouth breathe if it was gonna grow at all, I know people with recessed maxillas and average midfaces who mouth breathe all the time

If I had to guess why you think you’re not seeing them, I’d guess that you’re used to seeing them online in selfies where lens distortion makes them even horsier, so when you see one in real life you might not register it as super horsey in comparison

Tall skull is ideal but if you're talking about long midface unless you have a fucked up ipd if you have wide and high set cheekbones your midface will appear compact.

I mean there’s people with long midfaces everywhere

If I had to guess why you think you’re not seeing them, I’d guess that you’re used to seeing them online in selfies where lens distortion makes them even horsier, so when you see one in real life you might not register it as super horsey in comparison

Most people with oblong/moon face have normal midface ratios
And wide cheekbones makes the midface appear even shorter.

I think that it is just not as noticeable IRL. In pics, especially selfies that get posted here, lens distortion makes you look way more narrow-faced than what you truly look like irl.

I think most horsecels are tall and so it's only really noticeable in pics while irl with their tall frame making it proportionate it is less noticeable.
